Editing Existing Notion Database Records Via Pre-Filling Input Fields with Found Entry

If a record is found, pre-filling all the data in the fields would be a super nice way to allow our users to edit entries.
I saw the article explaining you can kind of do this with a formula but this won't work for us.
The idea here is this will be used as a new and separating team member form that managers fill out. And a form to just simply update employee info. This form once submitted will be sent to zapier via the zapier integration and different things will be provisioning or deprovisioned with zapier at that time. So editing after submission isn't really an option. Hope this use case makes sense and there is a way to do this.

To add, simply allowing a the submitter to edit their entry isn't a solution that would work because I am looking for a way for our users to be able to edit entries that they didn't submit either. Which is why pre-filling the input fields in the best solution.
